the event manager is our right-hand collaborator for major grownkid productions. this person becomes the point-of-contact right after gael & kayla, leading the team whenever we’re hosting and keeping the event running smoothly from start to finish. we’re looking for someone who wants to grow into this role long-term and eventually transition into a full-time position as grownkid expands.
responsibilities
lead and oversee the on-site team during events when gael & kayla are hosting.
act as the primary point-of-contact for any issues, questions, or last-minute needs.
guide team members, assign tasks, and support the flow of the event.
collaborate with us on programming, logistics, and run-of-shows.
join planning meetings and pre-production sessions.
troubleshoot confidently, make quick decisions, and problem-solve independently.
help build the operational foundation of grownkid club as we grow.
requirements
1–3 years of experience in community orgs, event hosting, production, or leading small teams.
strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
meticulous, reliable, and comfortable managing many moving parts.
scrappy, quick-thinking, confident, and grounded under pressure.
genuinely passionate about youth culture, community spaces, and the grownkid mission.
excited about the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role as we scale.

role expectations
this is a part-time, as-needed role. we’ll rely on you for larger productions and communicate event schedules in advance to ensure availability. expect involvement roughly 2 weeks per month, with hours depending on event scale. we’re looking for someone flexible, dependable, and excited about growing into a bigger role as grownkid grows.
compensation
we’re a small, community-focused org, and compensation at this stage won’t be competitive. we’re looking for someone who believes in the Grownkid mission and wants to grow with us as we build this together.
as our resources expand, we fully intend to increase pay and offer deeper, more involved roles. if you’re someone who cares about the work and wants to help shape what Grownkid becomes, you’ll feel at home here.
this role is a catch-all support position for when we need an extra pair of hands to help bring a grownkid event to life. production assistants help with whatever the moment calls for - from door operations, vendor coordination, and merch tables to set-up, break-down, and general on-site support.

compensation
compensation varies per task depending on the job and hours required. this isn’t a fixed role - instead, you’ll be added to our rolodex and we’ll reach out when opportunities open up.
the discord admin will help nurture and moderate the grownkid community server, keeping the space welcoming, active, and grounded in our values. this person will engage with members, spark conversations, share opportunities, and help maintain a healthy, connected online environment.

requirements
strong understanding of discord and how communities function on the platform.
at least 1 year of experience moderating or actively participating in discord communities.
reliable, communicative, and excited about building digital community spaces.
aligned with the grownkid mission and able to translate that energy online.
compensation
this is a remote role with per-month compensation based on responsibilities and time commitment.
Looking for photographers who can embody Grownkid's distinct visual identity, and aren’t scared to move, climb, crouch, or chase the moment to capture the energy we live for - across events, campaigns, and photoshoots.
Looking for videographers who understand our visual language, aren’t afraid to do whatever it takes to get the shot, and can disarm people so their real personality comes through on camera - across events, campaigns, and long/short-form concepts.
Looking for DJs with range and taste - rooted in house, techno, and electronic dance music - who can read a room, shape the emotional arc of a night depending on the event.
open to artists, makers, and creatives who believe their work can add something special to the grownkid ecosystem and want to collaborate on future projects or events.
