wabisabi cured my perfectionism
at wabi sabi, you’ll spend the evening shaping clay in whatever way feels good - building bowls, trays, blobs, creatures, or nothing with a clear purpose. the room stays calm, soft, and supportive as people experiment, start over, switch ideas, mess up, and keep going.
some pieces crack, some wobble, but all end up beautiful. wabi sabi is a space to slow down, get your hands dirty, and remember what creativity feels like without the pressure to be perfect.
too often when we create something, we become more obsessed with being good at the craft than admiring the actual process of it. we live in a world where every hobby gets monetized, every craft becomes content, and every creative impulse gets compared. we wanted the opposite: clay making without the fear of perfection.
wabi sabi honors the beauty of things that are unfinished, uneven, or imperfect. using intuitive creation as our guide, we built a space that lets you make art the way you used to: freely, playfully, and imperfectly.
