twinks & trinkets is a trading game and social event, where grownkids arrive with trinkets of their choosing and find others to swap with throughout the night. a dose of testosterone for a pair of old jordans? deal! under dark lights and dj sets that intensify the trade, people drift, compare objects, share lore, and of course, DANCE!
every swap is intentional and everyone wins.
we’ve always loved the art of bartering, exchanging objects that carry stories, sentiment, or sometimes absolutely no practical purpose at all.
sometimes all it takes is a little trade to create a connection, the mutual, almost childlike thrill of swapping treasures, comparing stories, and bonding over the niche things we hold onto - an exchange where you give someone a piece of yourself and, in return, receive a piece of them. it’s mutual, it’s intentional, and both people win.
